The Garden Club of Kent monthly meeting

Monthly dinner meetings and speaker. Fourth Mondays of January, February, April, May, September, October, November. Dinner served at 6:30 pm, cost is $16 per person, cash or check only. Reservation deadline is the Thursday before. Speaker portion is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
7:30 pm Monday, February 24, speaker will be Tom Davis. Tom is a member and former president of Gardeners of Greater Cleveland and a member of the Gardeners of Greater Akron. He is a certified horticulture judge and his own property is without a lawn and qualifies as “nearly native.” Tom will provide some general gardening information about woody plants and discuss some species of small trees, shrubs and a vine that are good choices for our area.
