I am an alum class of ’64. Thomas Bacher was a student of mine at Valley Forge High School, Parma Heights Ohio in the 70s. I was instrumental in introducing him to Hiram and enrolling as a Terrier. I have retired as a Professor of History at University of Akron Wayne College (History) and Cuyahoga Community College (Humanities, Philosophy and Ethics). As with all of my very exceptional students any opportunity that arises I attempt to contact them and catch-up. I live in a variety of places during the year (NC, NJ, RI, FL) none of which are near Hiram, so I was unable to attend his presentation”…a Journey through Hiram’s Past” which was most likely educational and enlightening.
If possible could yo put me in contact with Tom, i would surely like to talk with him. Feel free to send a copy of this communication to him or provide him with the following contact information. Ken Konchan (440)382-7629 or [email protected]. Thank You, Ken Konchan ’64, a long time contributor to Friends of the Library and the Wil Hoffman Endowment. (He was my mentor).
