Summer Solstice Party: Celebrate the longest day of the year

Play in the sun & make some sunny crafts to celebrate the height of the summer season! Craft supplies will be limited to 40 participants, but the party is open to all. Accompanied kids are welcome.

The Summer Solstice is the point at which the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the sun the longest, making it the longest day of the year. It’s a fiery time, so let’s celebrate the warmth and gather up our energy for the coming cold!

Join us in Ravenna City Park at the Cunningham Shelter to eat snacks, enjoy the sun, and make some sunny crafts and presents, like DIY firestarters, flower wreaths, and cyanotypes (AKA sun prints)!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
