Native Plants and Seeds Swap and Winter Sowing Workshop

All native plant enthusiasts are welcome.

No cost to attend. No charge for seeds or plants.

Bring your clean NATIVE seeds and potted native plant rhizomes and roots,  to exchange with other native plant enthusiasts in the Kent, Ohio, area. Please label your seeds and plants with the scientific (Latin) name, common name, growing requirements – light, water, soil, height, etc. Bring your own containers to take home the seeds you choose: envelopes, pill bottles, bags, jars, what-have-you.

For the winter sowing workshop, bring a clean milk jug with lid, a razor type knife, and twisty-ties or duct tape. A limited amount of potting soil will be available for $1 per pint.

All levels of experience are welcome. We can learn from or teach others.
