Garden Club of Kent Horticultural and Photography Show

SATURDAY, AUGUST 16. 

Come one, come all! Bring your most successful garden produce and your best photographs to our Horticultural and Photography Show. The professional judges from the Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown, graciously judge our entries and award ribbons to acknowledge our talents and hard work. Anything you grow at home or in a community garden is welcome, encouraged, and “good enough!” We just want to meet you, have fun, and encourage each other. CHILDREN who garden are most especially welcome! Let them stick a sunflower seed or squash seed in the ground somewhere at their home and help them care for the plant until August. It teaches responsibility, patience, and success!  The schedule is on the webpage. It gives you all the “dirt” on what to do and how to enter. PLEASE come! It’s great fun!
