A Ballerina’s Tale: Matinee at the Library

Join us for a free matinee at the library. We will be playing A Ballerina’s Tale, a documentary film revolving around the career of Black ballerina, Misty Copeland.

Black ballerina Misty Copeland is profiled in this documentary, which explores her career, her recovery from a serious injury and the lack of diversity in the world of dance. Copeland serves as the narrator of the film as well as its subject.
