Council Member Tom Hardesty laid out potential plans for road repairs totaling an estimated $240,000; council approved Hardesty’s request to seek bids.
A representative from the road department suggested filing a Lemon Law claim against a newer plow truck.

Leonard suggested a temporary moratorium on cultivation, processing and retail distribution of adult-use cannabis per the suggestion of Ashland County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Tunnell. The trustees voted in favor of a three-month moratorium.
An efficient trustee meeting followed a brief zoning update regarding occupancy at the Turnpike Commerce Center (TCC) on State Route 44.
AIM worked closely with Aurora’s director of economic development and has now made the decision to stay in Aurora. The company is purchasing a building that is in great disrepair.
