The annual Ravenna Area Chamber of Commerce “Only in Ravenna” event will take place downtown on Saturday, July 15. There will be live music, food trucks, DORA drinks and raffle prizes. The organizers are looking for acoustic musicians to perform on the corners of each city block to add to the ambiance and experience.

The Hiram High School alumni held their 29th reunion July 17 at the Troy Community Center in Welshfield after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Fifty classmates attended the potluck event that represented the graduating classes of 1946 to 1964, the last year the school was in service. The event was organized by Maryan Jenkins, Barbara Biltz, and Gary and Carol Bott.
The proposed Joint Economic Development District agreement between Shalersville Township and the City of Streetsboro will go before trustees and council members over the next few days to make the deal official.
