Amidst all the clean-up from the storms, it is nice to see the progression of the Brimfield Township Fire Department. The Brimfield Bread Oven has also received a lovely exterior renovation. Inside, it is still the best place to be in Brimfield. The smells, the people, the food…it is divine!
Some of my favorite memories of our children’s high school years were made at cross country meets, so it was especially exciting to see that our Field High School Cross Country boys team placed fourth at the regional CC meet to secure a spot at the State Cross Country meet.
Eclipse activities aren’t limited to Portage County’s cities. The Portage County District Library is bringing eclipse education and fun to all parts of the county.
Goose poop and what to do about it was a main talking point at Brimfield Trustees' April 7 meeting. It's everywhere in the township center area, making sports activities, and simply strolling, an exercise in judicious foot placement. The area is also the site of Brimfest, outdoor movie screenings and concerts.
The Portage County Recycling Center will host an electronic waste drop-off from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 25 at 3588 Mogadore Road in Brimfield.
