Happy February Bomber Country! February is for the season of love. Sharing kindness with others, loving yourself, spending time with your loved ones who add joy and laughter. I especially love that February means we get to enjoy longer days and more daylight around our little town. Here are some upcoming events and information to look forward to at the end of February and beginning of March.
The Windham Police Department is excited to introduce the newest member of the department, Jax. He will be working at the Windham Exempted Village Schools alongside SRO Mike.
Join the Windham School PTO for a delicious Chipotle dinner and give back to a great cause to support the Windham Bombers PTO from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at the Ravenna Chipotle location only.
A portion of proceeds goes directly to fundraising in support of Windham Exempted Village Schools. Use code 34V9CAH when ordering online or just show the flyer posted on their Facebook page when ordering person. If you order online, you can use the drive-up window.
Final Windham Lions Club Pancake Breakfast of the season will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, March 2 at the Brick Chapel in Windham. The Windham Bombers High School softball team will be waiting tables. Tickets are adults, $7 presale, $8 at the door, kids (6 to 12), $5 presale, $6 at the door, kids 5 and younger eat free. Proceeds from presale tickets will benefit both the Lions Club’s community efforts and the Windham Marching Band. The Windham PTO will also be doing Chinese auction raffle baskets.
Village of Windham Council Meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25. The Village of Windham is requesting comparative bids for the renovation of the east wing of the community center. The bidding window is open from now until Feb. 24. Interested contractors may contact Village Administrator Ryan at 330-326-2622, ext. 220.
The WYBSO 2025 Spring season registration is now open for Baseball, Softball, and T-ball. This year, registration will be online only. If you need assistance using our online form, we will hold in-person sign-ups during the Windham Little Dribbler Tournaments in February. The American Legion Post in Windham is selling fish dinners Friday evenings, 4 to 7. Cost is $14 per plate. Eat in or order take-out. Same price for shrimp dinners and chicken dinners. Large portions, great value. Call for pickup at 330-326-3188.

The Windham Police Department is now hiring both full- and part-time Police positions. Training opportunities are available. Interested applicants should email [email protected] or stop at the police department 9083 N. Main St., Windham for an application.
