The Ravenna Community Choir is hosting a Summer Luncheon and Silent Auction on Saturday, July 19 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 170 N. Freedom St. in Ravenna. Doors open at 11 a.m. for bidding. Lunch will be served at noon.

You will have a chance to bid on name-brand purses and bags. Each bag will contain a hidden gift card or coupon for a local merchant. The afternoon will be filled with food and great deals as well as music.

See you there!

I recently attended a fundraiser for the Shepherd’s House in Ravenna. The emcee was WKYC Channel 3 personality Danita Harris. Singing was provided by One Voice, and Ann Marie Noble gave the introduction for Pastor Bob. Prayers were led by Bill Hyslop. The event was held at the Portage Community Chapel on State Route 14 in Ravenna.
