Garrettsville is never without fun events. St. Patrick’s Day will again be celebrated with the Green Luck of the Irish throughout town: petting zoo, and horse and wagon rides on the corner of Main and Center from 4 to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Each restaurant will offer great Irish food, all available on Monday, March 17. There will also be face painting at the Mill.
The Garage Sale Weekend is being held May 16 through 18. The Sip n Shop on Main is being held from noon to 6 p.m. July 26 down Main Street. This summer, there will be four Car Cruises – May 24, June 21, July 19 and Aug. 9, the latter is the Car Cruise and Peach Social. Sept. 20 will be the Fall Festival. Small Business Saturday, along with the Clock Tower Lighting and a visit from Santa Claus, will all be held on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Garrettsville Curtains up Theatre is proud to announce our Sip-N-Shop on Main will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26. Wineries will line the center of Main Street with artisans and crafters speckling the sides of the street. The proceeds of this event will go to the Curtains up Theatre’s new home and a portion of the profits will again be put into the beautification fund of Garrettsville, held by Chamber.

The St. Ambrose Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring their pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5 in the church hall. Rumors are the Easter Bunny will be stopping by, too.
The Curtains up Theatre had to make some changes to their schedule with the summer production being Aug. 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9. Due to these changes, the theatre’s production will be “The Play That Goes Wrong,” not the musical “Legally Blonde.” Audition announcements will be out soon.
The James A. Garfield Theatre is performing their toe-tapping rendition of “Mamma Mia.” The shows are 7 p.m. March 27 and 28 and 2 and 7 p.m. March 29. Tickets may be purchased at jagschools.org/musical.
