The annual Garrettsville Yard Sale will take place Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18. You can register from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at The Villager at 8088 Main St. in Garrettsville. There is a $17 registration fee. All registrations are due by 3 p.m. May 10. The Garrettsville Curtains up Theatre is holding auditions for “The Play that Goes Wrong” at 6:30 p.m. May 6 and May 8 in the James A. Garfield auditorium. Needed are three adult males, three adult females, and boys and girls ages 14 and over. No monologue is needed; there will be reading from the script. Show dates are Aug. 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9. The Eagles Club of Garrettsville hosts a wing night from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday. This event is open to the public. Wings are $1 with the purchase of a beverage.
Garrettsville still has a lot of things coming around the corner. There will be four Car Cruises this year: May 24, June 21, July 19 and Aug. 9, which is the Car Cruise and Peach Social; in September, an Oktoberfest is in the making; Small Business Saturday is Nov. 29; and the Clock Tower Lighting/visit from Santa Claus will be held Nov. 29 as well.
