There is a new flag pole at the home of Dale Nething just in time for Veterans Day. Last year, a big storm damaged his previous flag pole. Dale, an Air Force Veteran, was thrilled to receive a new one as a Christmas gift from his great-grandchildren, Ginny Jo and Sawyer Nething. The new pole was installed by Dale’s son, Dennis and grandson, Cory. Fly that flag high and proud, Dale and thank you for the sacrifices you made to serve our country!
The winners of the trunk decorating contest at the recent Charlestown Trunk or Treat event was Delci and Adam Eskridge, of Charlestown. They chose a pirate theme which had the kids walk the plank over a sea infested with sharks to get their treats. No children were injured :). They were awarded a beautiful fall wreath.
